This
is one of the most exhilarating activities Senor Stag offers for your
stag weekend in Barcelona. The whole stag group rushing down 14 kms of
turbulent, fast-flowing water, dodging the rocks, getting soaked through,
and paddling together frantically when needed is a great feeling. Take a waterproof camera and get some magical action shots as well ! |

The
activity centre is located in the foothills of the Pyrenees next to
the fast flowing water you will be rushing down. Because it´s
in the Spanish foothills of the Pyrenees, there's an amazing amount
of water rushing down from snow melt and rain collected over the mountains.
Even in the summer, due to various locks and a dam upstream, there's
still some good white water to be had. |

Once
you have arrived at the activity centre, you will get kitted out with
wet-suits, life-jacket, helmets, waterproof shoes, neoprene jacket
and waterproof. Then it´s a 10 minute drive
to the start of the 14 kilometer white water stretch. You will then be
assigned to your boat, ( 6- 8 per boat). Your instructor will give
you some basic training on paddling and sitting position and then off
you go.

There are several sections you will be navigating, some narrow, others on offshoot
streams to the main river, others with rocks to avoid and white water
to rush through. The stretch takes approx 90 minutes and there is an
opportunity to go for a swim and a float in the quiet section at the end.
With several rafts, raiding parties are organised between groups and you
are constantly overtaking each other all the way down the white water. |

After
the fun and action, the minibus will take you back to the centre to
strip off your wet gear, have a hot shower and change back into your
clothes. Because the location is a 4 hour drive from Barcelona, it´s
