If you're up for clubbing, this is one place you could start and finish your evening at. It's the old Barcelona port (Port Vell), but it's been re-vamped with a shopping centre, restaurants, clubs, a multiplex cinema and an aquarium.
Lots of people go down to eat in one of the restaurants, move on to some of the bars, then finish off in a club. To get there, just walk down to the far end of La Rambla, cross a roundabout, and then have no choice but to cross a footbridge onto the Maremagnum complex. That very footbridge is moveable to allow boats into the marina, so don't be surprised if you have to walk round the long way after chucking out time. |
