Details The apartments are near all of the central night life areas with a huge variety of restaurants, bars and night clubs to choose from! Stepping out from the apartments, everything you could need is on your doorstep - cafes, cashpoints, pubs, restaurants, corner shops and even McDonalds and KFC! All the apartments are close to metro stops, so getting to the Nou Camp, the beach or Port Olympic is very easy. All apartments have their own bathrooms with shower, living room area with TV/DVD and CD/HiFi, air conditioning, heating and a fully equipped American style open kitchen and the all important drinks fridge! Thursday and Friday White Water Rafting & Canyoning in the Pyrenees Mountains Your stag group will be picked up from the airport and whisked straight up to the Pyrenees mountains. You will then stay overnight in a village B&B propping up the local bar and getting to know the locals. The next morning, you'll then experience 14 kms of extreme white water rafting, followed by 3 hours of canyoning (jumping and sliding down a mountain stream). After all the extreme exhilaration, you will be transported directly back to Barcelona to enjoy 2 hedonistic nights out there. White Water Rafting Imagine the whole stag group rushing down 14 kms of turbulent, fast-flowing water, dodging the rocks, getting soaked through, and paddling together frantically when needed is a great feeling. Take a waterproof camera and get some magical action shots as well! Because the activity centre is in the Spanish foothills of the Pyrenees, there's an amazing amount of water rushing down from snow melt and rain collected over the mountains. Even in the summer, due to various locks and a dam upstream, there's still some good white water to be had. Once you have arrived at the activity centre, you will get kitted out with wet-suits, life-jacket, helmets, waterproof shoes, neoprene jacket and waterproof. Then it's a 10 minute drive to the start of the 14 kilometer white water stretch. You will then be assigned to your boat, (6 - 8 per boat). Your instructor will give you some basic training on paddling and sitting position and then off you go. There are several sections you will be navigating, some narrow, others on offshoot streams to the main river, others with rocks to avoid and white water to rush through. The stretch takes approx 90 minutes and there is an opportunity to go for a swim and a float in the quiet section at the end. With several rafts, raiding parties are organised between groups and you are constantly overtaking each other all the way down the white water. Canyoning Next up is canyoning which is basically climbing a mountain then navigating down a stream bed in a ravine. You will be kitted out with full waterproof and safety equipment - wetsuit salopettes and jacket, neoprene socks, abseiling harness and safety helmet. After putting on your shoes or trainers, your transport will take you 20 minutes down the valley to the start of the canyon. After a safety briefing, you jump in and across the river, then climb for 30 minutes up the mountain to the top of the ravine. This is when the fun starts! You will start splashing your way down the ravine, but as is the "stepped" nature of streams, this won't last long. Some drops you will have to jump, and others slide down into the water pool below. But there are sections when only abseiling down will do, especially down the 40 foot waterfall which drops you into the "Devil's Cavern". After 2 hours of sliding, jumping and abseiling, you will arrive back at the river and just float down to the original starting point. Friday Night Bar Crawl Let your guide show you the best bars in Barcelona, enjoying a special house shot and drink in each, before going to a banging night club to dance away the rest of the night. A great first night activity being shown the best bits of Barcelona's night life by a Barca local. Details Your Senor Stag guide will meet you at a central bar to start the evening off with a drink or 2. You will then be taken to 4 different bars in the central area of Barcelona enjoying a special house shot in each. Your guide will really know what's hot and what's not, very important in Barcelona as the night life scene changes so quickly. Things are flexible, so if you get talking to some nice senoritas in one bar, there's no problem with staying longer. And don't forget your Spanish-speaking guide can help you get through that language barrier with the locals! You will end up in a great night club to dance away the rest of the night. If you let us know your musical tastes beforehand (cheesy, pop, R&B, house, etc), we can make sure you get to a night club that suits in most cases.
